The FivePax house is a house of book lovers. Children’s literature especially has always been my jam. For several years I worked for an early-literacy non-profit and as a teacher. Our kids had a home library of books before they were born. Thankfully, the kids have also fallen in love with books and adventures through reading. And whenever we travel, books are our favorite souvenirs!
Additionally, we love using kids’ books to create excitement before travel and adventures. And then to keep the magic and adventure alive at home between trips. Our kids love showing up to a new destination after they have experienced a slice of it in a book. We love watching their eyes light up as their imagination becomes their reality. It is really good stuff, friends.
Whether you are looking for a children’s book about planes and flying, a book about family vacations and road-trips, or introducing the kids to new places. We have beefed up our former list to include a few more advanced titles for the bigger kids. Here are our top 29 books every adventure-loving family should have in your child’s library. And as we approach the holidays, sharing a book wish-list is a great way to cut-back on a house of toy clutter! For more gift ideas for an adventure-loving family, check our holiday gift guide.
